Replacement tremolo cavity cover plate for 7 Ibanez. These are CNC cut to generic Japanese factory RG/Jem spec and will fit most Japanese 7 string bodies but please check the measurements to ensure it will work with your guitar. 1 ply black matte as the originals were also a 1 ply matte sheen and not a high gloss. Ibanez no longer makes solid back plates which were found on the older Ibanez. While the newer slotted ones should work on older guitars, a solid replacement will be more correct for the older guitars. Listing is for the cover only, screws not included.

3 different options are available as the size and hole placement varies on 7 string Ibanez. Most Universes will take hole pattern 1. I have seen a few early universes where the hole placement is different (hole pattern 2). Both of these covers are the same size, just the hole placement is different. 7 string RG series guitars seem to have a slighter larger cover. Please use the link below to check the sizes and screw hole placement of the different options and compare to your guitar to ensure proper alignment.
